Pink Sequin Productions is a film production company with expertise in public health education films for the UK’s South Asian Community.
Pink Sequin Productions runs a bespoke operation from scripting to finished product. We provide a unique package as we have a team of doctors and professional filmmakers, many from the South Asian community, working together to create evidence-based, medically accurate films with high production values and maximum impact.
We only undertake a production if we believe in the cause. Therefore we are producers with a real interest in promoting our projects and their key messages to the wider community.
Pink Sequin Productions uses the Bollywood genre to raise awareness of health issues in the UK’s South Asian community. We have found this is a unique and powerful way of providing health information for this traditionally hard to reach group.
Dil ki Baatein / Matters of the Heart
Our latest production “Dil ki Baatein” / “Matter of the Heart” is a Bollywood style comedy to raise awareness of heart disease in the UK’s South Asian community. It was endorsed by the South Asian Health Foundation and funded by the Pfizer UK Foundation. It was the winner of the 2006 BUPA Foundation Communication Award.
